The 16th of September, the year 1958. Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard circumstances. Her father worked as a salesman and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer, the second of four kids in her family often accompanied her mother to performances in the theater and was awed by her. Jennifer's divorce was finalized after she reached the age of five. Jennifer lived the majority of her youth living in British Columbia, after her mother relocated there with their four kids. Jennifer was not a scholar however, as a child she was extremely artistic. Because of her experience in Canada's public schools, Jennifer was the subject of a lot of bullying. As her interest in theatre diminished in high school she started participating in plays with her mother. She encouraged all her children to become passionate about the arts. She then began to take action.
