Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories are of attending play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 to continue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first met him in 2007 in an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married in the civil ceremony on December. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk has a number of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 for her performance. In 2009, she was cast as the character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk, who has been working on Lost Girl since the third season finale episode premiered on January 6 2013, announced on Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples.
